USS Eclipse NCC-73081

Welcome to the USS Eclipse!

While the Federation has been exploring the stars for ages, the vastness of space never ends and the exploring is never done. With it's extensive sensor capabilities and laboratory facilities, the USS Eclipse is the perfect ship to go out and charter new planets, find unknown species and explore strange spacial anomalies. Unfortunately, not everyone in this universe gets along with each other. Apart from old fashioned enemies like the Borg, the Eclipse has faced such enemies as Janus Kirkegaard, a psychotic hologram taking control of the ship, the Efati, a race which worships the Borg as gods and countless other problems that would make a Starfleet Captain think twice about getting out of bed each morning.

The glorious USS Eclipse!

But Captain Mark Levett, Lieutenant Commander Seran R'Avir and their faithful crew have come out alive on the other side, every time. Once an unknown name in the fleet, the USS Eclipse now commands respect amongst her peers. Selected for special missions by Admiral Ravencroft herself, these fine men and women give their best every day. Sure, someone might turn out to be a spy, the rockstar Captain might spend hours playing funky guitar on the bridge--there might even be an unauthorized mindmeld or two, but who's counting?

Welcome to the USS Eclipse! We are a simm with mature and dedicated writers, striving to bring simming to a new level, but mostly, we are here for fun! Do you have what it takes? Are you a dedicated simmer who's not afraid of committing to the cause and who doesn't turn away from a challenge? Have a look around, check out our stories, check out the rules, and see: the Eclipse might be just for you!

» Nova!

Posted on Fri Apr 16th, 2010 @ 5:43pm by Captain Mark Levett in Website Update

Ladies and gentlemen, Nova has arrived. As part of the big revamp, we will be upgrading very soon. Here's what I need you to do:

BACK UP YOUR BIOGRAPHY!

While Nova has an SMS upgrade function, it just might break. I will not be backing anything up, as we are going to write new site stuff from scratch anyway.

I will be doing so very soon, so do it sooner rather than later ;).

» Mission 2: Definition of Life - has begun!

Posted on Sun Sep 6th, 2009 @ 5:06pm by Captain Mark Levett in Simm Announcement

Dear crewmembers,

Gather 'round, and tell eachother the tale of Mission 2: Definition of Life! Shorter, compacter, intenser, more interactive, and awesomer than the previous one!

There's plenty to write about (how did your character like shore leave? What's it like to get back?): http://usseclipse.starfleetuk.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=11&p=6356#p6356

Achievements update will follow, as well as specific departmental tasks. And as always: this mission is not what it seems...

People that haven't checked in yet: please do so now! I will start to officially warn inactive players soon, so take a few minutes of your time to let me know what's going on. I'm certainly excited to start this awesome mission, and I hope you feel the same!

Yours truly,

Captain Mark Levett
